Mentor

Our young people cannot flourish without the assistance of our adult men and women in the community.  By spending a minimum of three hours a month as a mentor to a youth you benefit by earning the respect and affinity of the youth and by establishing a bond with that youth which develops into a lifelong friendship.

What is a Blue Nile Mentor?

A Blue Nile Mentor is one that “seeks to develop the genius within a young person so the youth can arrive at his or her destination- the sharing of one’s gifts within the community.”- Malidome Some

What are the requirements of a Blue Nile Mentor?

A Blue Nile Mentor is required to spend a minimum of three hours per month with the youth they are matched with. This can be an outing, by phone, or during a Saturday session.
